Petra Barran is leaving London – she’s taking Choc Star on a grand tour to look for the friendliest people and most hospitable parts of Britain. Steering Jimmy up hill and down dale Petra is exploring the nation through a chocolate-tinted prism. She wants to know:
Who likes chocolate the most?
How far people will go for chocolate?
Can she secure herself supper, a bed for the night, and a plug-in for the van, purely on the promise of chocolate in return?
Will chocolate gain her access to some unturned rocks? Closed groups? Secret supper clubs?
And when she opens up the hatch to sell her delectable wares, who’s going to have the heart to stop her? Surly ice cream vendors, avid traffic wardens, stressed out non-believers? She’s up for the challenge and ready for the adventure…
